What is Edokibashi?

“Edokibashi” (江戸木箸) are traditional handcrafted wooden chopsticks made by Daikokuya in Tokyo, Japan.

Daikokuya’s workshop is located in Sumida City, an area deeply connected to Edo culture and craftsmanship.

The word “Edo” refers to the former name of Tokyo, while “Kibashi” means wooden chopsticks in Japanese. Combining these words, the founder created the name “Edokibashi” to honor the tradition of handcrafted chopsticks made in Edo.
